Heart 2 Heart Stories; Getting to the Heart of What Matters Most. The first book in the series is "For the Heart of the Stepfamily" (working title) which will be nationally promoted.
Rate of Pay or What is Offered in Exchange - $100 awarded for the story chosen to lead the book. Generous byline and bio for authors whose stories are selected. Authors showcase page, including picture (optional) hosted within our site which will highlight each author, feature his/her talents and experience and an excerpt from the story.

Special Needs - Must be inspirational, true life stories from a stepfamily member point of view about stepfamily life, challenges, triumphs, improvement and making things work together as you grow together.

Would Love to See - Stories that evoke in the reader emotional response, i.e., the reader feels your sorrow, shares in your laughter and cries when you cry! There must be resolution that leaves the reader with either hope or some good knowledge to better approach similar situations in their lives as it pertains to stepfamily life.

Hates to See - Stories without a beginning, middle and end that simply tell versus showing. No how-to type stories.

No academic essays, reviews, or literary criticism will be considered. Deadline for submissions: FRIDAY JANUARY 11th, 2002 If you decide to submit your work, please note the following: We do not publish with First North American Serial Rights, therefore if your article is chosen you may publish it elsewhere.
