Music to Write By
Oiling up the writing gears can be a challenge. Some music is too
stimulating for writing--I can't write and dance. Some is too
sedate--lulls me to sleep. The music that works one day--might have to be
put away for a few months as it loses it freshness. Here are some of my
favorite artists for music to write by.

His music gives the muses a boot and gets my juices
flowing:
"Night Sessions" CD, Chris Botti -- especially the 'Light the Stars' track.
Overall, the whole CD is a nice mix of upbeat and reflective ( and the
artist isn't hard on the eyes, either). A little bit of trivia insight on
the album is that the project really WAS a series of "night sessions"; none
of the tracks were done on a sound stage. The entire album was recorded at
night in a vacant house, and the mood and acoustics reflect that.
(And, I am not related to Mr.Botti or employed by him--just love this CD).
And, love your website --
