Cindy Appel (aka Cynthianna Appel) describes herself as "a columnist,novelist, essayist, manuscript evaluator, book reviewer, and freelancewriter--but not necessarily in that order and not necessarily on any givenday." She also claims to be the mother of two growing girls, the wife of acomputer whiz of a husband and the caretaker of one very hungry rabbit. Shecurrently lives in St. Louis County, Missouri. The Fixer-Uppers, her firstnovel, is a November 2001 release from Wings ePress Inc.(http://www.wings-press.com). Her second contemporary romance, Country Boy,City Girl, will also be a Wings ePress e-book release in 2002.

Some of Cindy's past lives have included stints doing casework for theTexas Department of Human Services, substance abuse counseling and workingas a radio disc jockey. She has a degree in Psychology from University ofTexas-Permian Basin. Long ago in a galaxy far, far away she studied film.

Cindy belongs to the Missouri chapter of the Romance Writers of America aswell as the national RWA and the Dark Stormy Writers Group. She is a proudmember of the Sweet Adelines International chorus, The River Blenders,where she sings bass. In church choir, she professes to be an "born againalto".
